I Don’t Live Here Anymore
A Podcast Exploring De/Reconstruction in Evangelical Christian Faith
Episodes
CHAPTER 1:
Homeostasis
Deconstruction is a popular term within Evangelical Christianity, but what is it? Why is it such a big deal? What problems do we face when trying to reconcile the tenets of Christianity with the real-world issues of today? We begin to look at some of the pressing questions and how philosophy might help.
CHAPTER 2:
Pulling the Threads
Once someone begins to reevaluate their long-held beliefs, it can feel like unwinding a tapestry: If Hell isn’t real, what does that mean about faith? What if the Bible isn’t infallible in the ways we thought? Where is God when people face real evil?
CHAPTER 3:
Crisis
As questions build, something has to give. In this episode, we look at why the deconstruction process matters and what happens in the state of perplexity we reach when we honestly face the hard questions.
CHAPTER 4:
I Don’t Live Here Anymore
Is there a new way to navigate life and faith? In this final chapter, we consider the questions from previous episodes and ask what it might look like to find a new place to call home.
